New York State Systems of Care Conference

Executive Director, Kerry Whelan-Megley, recently joined Michael Orth, Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health, John Befus, Deputy Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Social Services, Tony Ortiz, Supervising Probation Officer, and Michele Landry, SPOA Coordinator at the “All Systems Go” New York State Systems of Care Summit. The team from Westchester County worked together, and in partnership with other teams from across the state, to celebrate New York’s innovative history of Systems of Care implementation and create an action plan to sustain and expand this framework in the face of a changing healthcare landscape. Multiple service systems, payers, counties, and agencies recommitted themselves to a continued partnership that will improve services and supports for children and families experiencing behavioral health challenges.
